Tickleberry Challenge Entry

When I first saw the Challenge, I thought there was no way I dare carry it out. But the idea kept returning over the next couple of weeks until, last Monday, I decided to do it.
The short drive to the nearest supermarket was difficult - not only due to the sense of anticipation, but also the pressure of my CB-3000 which I was wearing.
I was relieved to find the shop fairly empty, so there were few people to hear the clunk clunk of my MCD's paddlock as I walked around the aisles.
I first tried to find the KY Jelly. To my horror, most of the shelves were bare after the weekend. There was only one large tube left. Likewise, the only condoms were a pack of 12 tucked away on a bottom shelf. I placed both in my basket and headed to the Salad Bar.
My heart sank as the only cucumbers I could see were halves. As I stood there, a middle-aged lady assistant came by and asked if she could help. I stuttered that I needed a whole cucumber. She glanced into my basket, then took me to the Organic section.
'There you are' she said - and handed me the biggest cucumber I'd ever seen. It must have been nearly a foot long and over two and a half inches in diameter! 'Last one' she said, 'and 20% off.'
I mumbled my thanks and headed for the checkout. Only one was open and there was a queue.
For what seemed like ages, I waited in line feeling a mixture of embarassment and excitement. By the time I put my 3 items on the conveyor belt, my Points of Intrigue were digging hard into my flesh.
The young checkout girl finally scanned my purchases and, as I hurriedly put them into a carrier bag, she asked for £12.55. I gave her a £10 note, but was shaking so much that I fumbled the coins. Eventually she took the correct amount out of my hand and put it in the till.
As I was about to escape she said 'Don't forget your receipt' and handed it to me with a knowing grin.
