Challenge Notes:
Well it was an intriging thought, after I stopped smiling to myself!
When it crossed my mind that perhaps I should consider doing it myself, my pulse quickened. Over the next few hours the idea took a firmer hold on me. I wonderd whether to leave it for 2 days and enjoy the feeling of "should I, shouldn't I". In the end, decided to do it on the way home that day! I did choose a supermarket away from home and away from work though, so kinda chicken.
Well, pulse was certainly quick as I pulled in to the car park as I thought of how busy it may be. Kept quickening as I went through the store. Took even longer as I struggled to choose which special deal to pick on the condoms shelf. Positively racing as I walked to select a checkout. Not too busy actually, and chose one where I was next in line. Young girl on the counter sees the items and didn't utter the customary welcome greeting they are trained to give. Kept her head down and just put them through. All parties acting all cool and if this was quite usual. Pulled out my discount card but was told it was too late as items had been put through already. Decided not to make a fuss!
Left and suddenly it didn't feel such a risky thing to have done and a bit of an anticlimax.
Would I do anything for my (reluctant) mistress? Yes, but I haven't told her I took this challenge yet!
What did I do with the items? Now that would be telling.
