Anticipation
You should not need to be asked
The anticipation of your Mistress’ needs is perhaps the most important of all the skills a servant needs to possess, and the key to this skill is awareness. The servant should at all times be aware of his Mistress.
Before her arrival, what needs to be done so that her pleasure begins the moment she walks through the door?
The bath run? The wine chilled? The room warmed? Are you dressed in a manner which will please? Should you prepare a meal for her? Can you do so if required? Being able to cook good quality meals for your Mistress is certainly an important skill.
On Her arrival, observe her demeanour.
Is she calm and relaxed, or stressed and in need of soothing care? What needs to be done in order to make her comfortable? Cultivate the skills of a good listener so that your Mistress may unburden herself upon you, knowing you will listen attentively and support appropriately.
Likewise, when you serve your Mistress’ pleasure, be sure to anticipate her needs and desires. Although she may have a favourite pleasure, make sure to watch for signs of boredom or dismay, either with the variety of pleasure or your performance.
You are privileged to Serve
You should remember that, as in all other aspects of surrender, serving her pleasure is a privilege your Mistress has bestowed upon you, so never treat it merely as a job to be done, under no circumstances should you seek to satisfy your own desires unless your Mistress expressly permits it. You are the chief instrument of your Mistress’ pleasure and satisfaction and as such you carry a responsibility to surrender your self, body and soul, to every whim and desire she has.
Discipline
Your Mistress has the right to administer correction for infractions as She sees fit. As soon as you realize your transgression you should kneel before your Mistress, confess your offence, and seek Her forgiveness. Make no mistake that in your trusted position all transgressions are a Crime against your Mistress, and a betrayal of her trust, no matter how trivial it may seem.
Whatever your punishment you will accept it without complaint or protest. Whether your Mistress chooses to lock you up in chastity, humiliate you, or simply spank you, you will endure it without complaint. Whining, bleating, and sobbing are the domain of the slave. As in all things you are above this and so, even if you are brought to tears by your fate, you should weep quietly and with dignity.
Once your punishment is over you should kneel again before your Mistress, thank Her for punishing you with justice and fairness, and ask that you be allowed to continue serving Her as before. Once this permission has been given the matter will be forgotten and you will continue to serve with devotion and without resentment.
If you ever feel that a punishment is too harsh, you should remember that there are worse things. The very worst thing is for a servant to lose his status, have his collar taken from him, and to be reduced to a slave. Rejected by his Mistress, despised by other slaves, this wretched creature goes bare-necked forever without owner, purpose or cause. Do not let this happen to you.
